What is it?

A chance to rehearse and perform excerpts from well-known plays, regardless of your level of experience.

Redannick Theatre, Redannick Lane, Truro

What actually happens?

On the launch night we will do some acting workshops, then all those who turn up will be divided into twelve groups (yes, you’ll be in more than one group!), each group to work on an excerpt from a different play (some dramas, some comedies). Learn your lines over the summer, rehearse once a week for six weeks, then perform your excerpts to an invited audience (including your family and friends).

Can I be part of it?

Yes, this is open to members of TAODS, other groups or none. Just turn up on the launch night (or contact guyhanson@btinternet.com).

What does it cost?

The launch night is free! Actors pay 50p per rehearsal, to include tea or coffee. Audience members pay £5, to include a pasty (and tea or coffee).
